Hello there, my name is Carmen Collier, I am 53, and was born in Frankfurt, Germany. I have worked in the Hospitality and Property Management industry my entire life. After moving to the states at an early age, my parents opened a restaurant in Southern California. I spent my early years there, learning how to shop for quality ingredients, prep delicious meals and cook from scratch. My family instilled in me the value of doing a job correctly, and the importance of having an eye for detail. I obtained both my Real Estate and Property Management licenses in 1999. I went on to be a top producer for many years while concurrently owning and operating a successful house cleaning business, specializing in custom homes. I have enjoyed life as a full time, professional innsitter since 2011 and am constantly rewarded from the challenges that this occupation brings. Whether in the kitchen, taking reservations or listening to a new story, I enjoy every aspect of Inn Sitting. Speaking German, English, Croatian and some Spanish also helps. I would love the opportunity to help you with some much needed time away and look forward to hearing from you soon.

As innsitters, we have learned that each inn or bed & breakfast is unique. The responsibilities and constant day to day challenges are countless. Jeb and I possess the skills to think on our feet, and are excellent problem solvers with an eye for detail. We strive to do our very best to fulfill that "special or unusual" request from each guest. Taking the time to listen is vital to our success as innsitters. We have encountered deadly snakes, snow blizzards, scorpions, flooding and wild monkeys while innsitting, and are always up for that next adventure. We are members of the Professional Association of Innkeepers International, Interim Innkeepers Network and numerous innkeeping groups and forums throughout the world. Receiving good reviews and references are extremely important to us, and earning them is our number one priority.
Together we have travelled to over thirty eight countries on six continents while innsitting. We are open to traveling anywhere in the world and have performed innsits from one week to over one year. Jeb and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
